Yellow Brick Road is located in the R.E. Lee Memorial Episcopal Church, 123 West Washington Street, Lexington, VA 24450.  Our early learning center was established in 1977 in response to community needs for parents who work, are in job training or attending school.  Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia, YBR operates year round from 7:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.  YBR is licensed to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment of up to 90 children between six weeks and six years of age who need to be cared for outside their home.  Daily planned activities are provided to meet the developmental needs (social, emotional, physical and educational) of the children enrolled in YBR.  Meals (breakfast and lunch), snack, rest-time, supervised (indoors and outdoors), and educational field trips are also included in the children's program.

Yellow Brick Road Early Learning Center is pleased to announce its summer enrichment program.  Starting Monday, June 10th and running through Friday, August 16th we have some very exciting events planned.  We will be offering fun centers, expanded circle time with community members coming to share their talents, theme weeks, and water fun days!  Field trips include working with "Oaks and Acorn", trips to the library  and Stonewall Jackson House and lunches in the park.  Or operating hours run from 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, the school will be closed for the 4th of July.  We have openings in all classes including our Pre-K classes.  Come join the fun!!
